About BZK
Built on one idea:
do the job right.
BZK Construction Inc. is more than a general contractor. We bring institutional level underwriting, acquisitions, and asset management experience to every project, then apply that same discipline to help mom and pop property owners get the kind of operating support usually reserved for large institutional portfolios.
Our experience spans acquisitions, asset management, lending, and construction, and that shows up in how we work with clients. We have done this work from every side of the table.

Ben Kreitenberg founded BZK Construction Inc. to bring institutional real estate discipline, ownership perspective, and hands-on construction experience together under one roof.

Ben began his career in multifamily brokerage, where he helped represent 24 transactions totaling more than $150 million in sales volume. He later moved to the ownership side of the business, joining a national real estate investment firm where he sourced and underwrote acquisitions, performed due diligence, and monitored business, financial, and capital project performance across a national portfolio across all asset classes.

Alongside his institutional career, Ben has spent more than a decade working in apartment property management and ownership with his family, whose development, ownership, and managerial experience spans three generations. Through both the institutional platform and his family's properties, Ben has been directly involved in major capital projects across the country, gaining experience not only in construction execution, but in the decisions that come before and after a project: where to invest, where to save, how to prioritize improvements, and how those decisions ultimately affect a property's operations and value.

MEET THE FOUNDER
BEN KREITENBERG
Founder, BZK Construction Inc.
Ben has played a key role in the acquisition and capitalization of more than $600 million across 4,000+ units in seven states. That combination of investment, asset management, property operations, ownership, and construction experience gives him an owner's perspective that is uncommon in the general contracting business.

BZK Construction was founded to bring that perspective to independent property owners. The goal is simple: give owners the level of accountability, financial discipline, and construction expertise typically available to large institutional portfolios, while maintaining the hands-on approach and personal attention that independent owners value.

Ben attended UCLA, where he played football and earned a degree in Political Science.

How We Operate
✓Â

No landlord specials
Â
Â
Sloppy paint, mismatched appliances, and finished that scream corners cut might save you a few dollars up front, but they cost you on lease up. We build the kind of quality tenants notice and appreciate, because that is what gets a unit leased faster and commands a stronger rent.Â
✓Â

No decision fatigue
Â
Â
Cabinets, counters, fixtures, there are dozens of ways to go wrong picking between them. We use proven designs built for lasting turns and fast lease ups, so you are not stuck weighing samples for weeks while a unit sits empty.

Institutional discipline, hands-on approach
Â
You get the accountability, financial discipline, and construction expertise usually reserved for large institutional portfolios, without losing the hans-on approach and personal attention an independent owner actually wants.Â
